Staff Android Mobile Engineer

As a member of our Ads Signals team, you'll be instrumental in helping advertisers succeed on Reddit, while also ensuring that our users' privacy is respected. The team would like to get your guidance based on your understanding of the data. Your work will have a direct impact on the growth and success of our Ads business, and you'll be part of a team that values collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning.

Independently identify opportunities based on our data and drive the evolution of our products that would help improve the quality of our conversion data.
Lead the development of advertiser facing products along with a group of frontend and backend engineers that would improve both the quality as well as quantity of our conversions data using cutting-edge technologies
Be a thought partner of your leadership as well as XFNs while contributing towards the development of key projects such as signals quality and signals anomaly detection.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our stakeholders' needs
Take ownership of your work, from concept to delivery, and ensure that your solutions are scalable, reliable, and meet the highest standards of quality and performance
Continuously learn and grow with our team, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development

A Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or computer science-related field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, computer science)
5+ years of full-time backend and data focused software engineering experience in a highly scalable computing environment
Experience working with data is a MUST, including but not limited to the ability to independently perform data analysis, building scoring models, as well as understanding how data is used by other downstream teams
Experience in software development, with a passion for learning and adapting to new technologies that you lacked prior experience with
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders independently
