Sr Security and Automation Engineer

As a Network Automation and Security Contractor with Insight, you’ll enhance our network infrastructure and support network security initiatives, particularly in factory segmentation projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated network solutions while contributing to critical network security efforts to protect our assets.

Utilize monitoring tools to ensure network performance and security compliance.
Generate reports on network health, automation effectiveness, and security posture.
Documentation and Training:

Create and maintain documentation for network automation processes and network security protocols.
Provide training and support to team members on network automation tools and security best practices.
Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in network automation and security.
Propose enhancements to current processes to improve security and efficiency.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker).
Understanding of cloud networking and security best practices.
Proven experience in network automation (e.g., using Python, Ansible, or similar tools).
Familiarity with network security principles and practices, particularly in industrial environments.
Knowledge of network protocols, firewall configurations, and segmentation techniques.
