Software Engineer

As a software engineer focusing on full-stack at Samsara, you will design and develop features touching many parts of our system that have a tangible impact on customers. You’ll tackle engineering challenges ranging from database architecture for scale, presenting analytics in an intuitive way for users, and performant ways to display insights on mobile and web.

Help customers visualize the status of thousands of gateways concurrently on country-scale maps
Collaborate with other engineers as well as product and design to build, test, and ship new features to help our customers get the most out of their equipment.
Bring a customer-focused mindset to all development, thinking through how our customers use our software and how best to meet their needs
Help foster an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive environment within the team and the larger engineering organization
Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Has 2+ years of relevant industry experience in software development
Strong programming/coding fundamentals and has led technical projects
Have built or worked on production applications
