Senior Systems Engineer

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our DTEX InTERCEPT platform. You will work with a talented team of engineers to develop and deploy robust solutions that address the ever-evolving challenges of insider risk.

Develop services optimized for speed and scalability, ensuring robust performance of data pipelines under high-demand conditions.
Implement and manage containerization technologies, including Podman and Kubernetes, to ensure efficient deployment and operation of our platform.
Write high-quality Python code, including testing, automation, documentation, and adherence to software engineering best practices.
Design and implement efficient strategies for storage and retrieval of high-volume data from Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and Postgres databases.
Implement best practices for system security and data protection, adhering to industry standards and compliance requirements.
Demonstrate a high degree of ownership in all facets of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment and iterative improvements.

BS in computer science or related technical field
5+ years of experience writing high quality Python code with a track record of shipping impactful software that has been deployed in production.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Podman and Kubernetes.
Experience with writing test suites using Pytest.
Experience with CI/CD frameworks such as Jenkins or Gitlab,
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including system administration and scripting.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to system design and maintenance.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Experience in a cybersecurity context is a plus, but not required.
