Senior Staff Engineer

As a very senior technical individual contributor, you will bring a unique skill set and experience to our organization, and work to solve some of the broader technical challenges in mobile developer experience. Additionally, you will lend expertise to specific teams and deep dive into projects as needed.

Drive the continued development of a long term technical strategy for iOS and broader mobile developer experience
Bring technical expertise to decision making and architecture, having a keen eye for constraints while building the best solution
Apply data-driven approach to measuring developer productivity and effectiveness, having an intense product oriented focus on customer needs and success
Identify foundational opportunities impacting native product developers through a deep appreciation of business use-cases
Elevate level of iOS expertise at Airbnb
Uplevel and support others with servant leadership, mentorship, advocacy, and allyship
Work cross functionally to align technical initiatives and decisions

14+ years relevant industry experience in a fast paced environment
Exceptional abilities and experience building well-designed APIs
Experience setting technical direction, planning, and successfully executing on large projects spanning multiple teams
Proven impact on developer productivity and tooling
Ability to create a culture of technical excellence
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven track record of working effectively across teams and organizations
