Senior Developer

Our Senior Developer position is great for an individual who is self-motivated, has a love of learning, and collaboration. In this position you will help maintain a framework for our business partners, collaborate and guide team members on large application development and can help lead a high-energy development team.

Apply coding/implementation best practices to produce high-quality and reusable code utilizing Control-M, COBOL, and DB2

Understand and explain application and system architecture
Help design and implement software products
Contribute to and create front-end UI
Collaborate with the Product team in creation of Acceptance Criteria for stories following Agile practices
Design and develop manual and automated tests
Collaborate and help guide other developers to sharing knowledge and improving overall product/solution
Regularly archive source code in GIT, code repository, for projects
Interface with geographically disperse teams across the United States

5+ years of experience in Control - M Scheduling and Administration.
Experienced in administration tasks include; installation, upgrading, configuration and troubleshooting.
Integration Specialist in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the process Scheduling, Administration and Troubleshooting.
Expert knowledge in create, update, maintain, scheduling through calendars and troubleshoot of Control-M jobs and batch flows.
Experienced in co-ordination and assisting teams in planning work activities, assigning technical tasks, application maintenance and upgrades.
IDMS data manipulation language (DML) experience directing an IDMS database (DB) and data communications (DC) processing.
5+ years hands on programming experience (COBOL/DB2)
