Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions’ to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. Noblis is looking to hire an Engineer (100% remote) to provide support to various ship programs for the US Navy in the areas of oil polution abatement in the wastewater code.

Responsibilities

You will provide engineering, technical, logistics, and obsolescence support to U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army, and Foreign Military Sales ships and vessels related to the following systems and equipment: Oily Waste Transfer (OWT) systems; Oil Water Separators (OWS); Oil Content Monitors (OCMs); and secondary treatment systems such as ceramic membranes; Non-Oily Wastewater (NOW) systems and equipment support.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental or Marine Engineering or equivalent work experience
Must hold a current (or expired) OPA System Certification Inspector qualification
Five (5) years of experience in system design, repair, installation, modification, operation, maintenance and testing. Shipboard experience Navy or Maritime is a plus
Active DoD security clearance at SECRET level or the ability to obtain one
Experience with equipment design principles
Familiarity with 2D/3D engineering design & manufacturing tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor)
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
Familiarity military specifications for technical design
