Backend Engineer III

Build backend services including the core APIs that power our mobile apps, and our backend data processing and trading systems
Deliver software components from the first commit to production
Work in a multi-functional agile team to produce working software incrementally
Instrument, test, profile, and code review software
Continuously deploy to our cloud-based infrastructure

3-5 years of professional experience as a software engineer
BS/MS in Computer Science or relevant industry experience
A great communicator who is able to collaborate with a lack of ego
Experience working with Microservice Architectures
Familiarity with or interest in docker, AWS, Terraform, Datadog
Data-driven decision maker, willing to take risks, fail fast and iterate quickly
A keen understanding of testing best practices
Familiarity with or interest in Go
Experience building gRPC APIs
